BBC's Countryfile star Anita Rani looks unrecognisable in see-through BAFTA dress
On Sunday night, a wave of well-known faces and celebrities in the showbiz world attended the annual BAFTA ceremony.
Countryfile: Anita Rani introduces Sir Henry Elwes
BBC Countryfile host Anita Rani looked almost unrecognisable as she attended this year’s BAFTA’S. The 46-year-old showed off her toned physique in a transparent dress.
The sheer dress, which was covered in pearls and diamonds, showcased Anita’s nude bodysuit underneath. At the neckline, the dress featured a cluster of diamonds to give the illusion of a necklace.
Anita accompanied the look with gold high heels and one dangly earring with the other cuffing her ear. Although BBC fans are used to seeing the Woman's Hour veteran have her hair in a short bob, she went for a different look for the occasion.
Instead, the Countryfile star opted for extensions which were pulled back into a high ponytail. Finishing off the look, Anita’s makeup featured a smokey silver eye to match her outfit.
Her racy display comes after the presenter recently opened up about splitting from her husband last September. Anita and Bhupi Rehal decided to part ways after 14 years.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping, Anita revealed she’s enjoying her newfound independence.
She said: “I feel like I've stepped into a place that I never, ever expected myself to be in. I'm in uncharted territory.
“I'm a single, Asian woman with no children, and do you know what? I love it! I've sort of got a blank slate in front of me, and that feels really good."
Although people know Anita for being a regular on Countryfile, the 46-year-old also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, which won a BAFTA this year.

The popular dancing competition won the best entertainment BAFTA during its 20th year on the air.
Beating the likes of Michael McIntyre, Hannah Waddingham and Jools Holland, the crew of Strictly were clearly blown away by their win.
As hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly took to the stage with the production team, Tess shared her gratitude for receiving the award.
She quipped: “We are properly and genuinely overwhelmed. Thank you Bafta for making it worth putting on Spanx on the hottest day of the year.”
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media publications after their win, Claudia confessed she felt slightly wobbly and weird.
Tess said: “We feel a bit unnecessary because we're quite overwhelmed. We don't take it for granted. Have we won three times?”
Claudia replied: “I'm not counting but also we're such a close team. And looking at their faces.
“When they said our name I feel like it took us about 49 minutes to get to the stage. We're not live, so they will be able to edit it.”
The BAFTAs are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
