Demi Moore's new film branded 'sick' as she strips off completely in gory scene
Demi Moore stars in a new body horror from Coralie Fargeat called The Substance and the film has been branded to be "not for the faint hearted".
Demi Moore's latest horror flick has been slammed as "insane" and definitely "not for the faint of heart".
The movie includes a scene of full frontal nudity where Demi's character examines her own body before deciding to undergo a transformative procedure that will change her existence forever.
On X/Twitter, an individual shared their thoughts on her new film, writing: "#TheSubstance is one wild ride. More outrageous than you can ever imagine, with a director determined to blow your mind.
"You will never look at Demi Moore the same way again. It's hard to believe this film actually exists. A disgusting and delicious triumph. #Cannes 2024."
Variety also chimed in on Demi's forthcoming venture: "#TheSubstance is rife with metaphors about women in Hollywood and the consequences of self hatred.

"Covered in blood, ripped out teeth, peeled-off fingernails and the most grotesque prosthetics in recent memory, the movie is not for the faint of heart."
Another cinema enthusiast exclaimed: "Cannes just got splattered. The Substance is the most batsh**f***inginsane movie of the last 20 years.
"It is on such a freakish level that it's impossible to believe it exists. Demi Moore goes there and @coraliefargeat has carved a contemporary horror unlike anything you've seen."

The film has been described as "for the sickos" by some, while critic David Ehrlich penned: "The Substance is absolutely f***ing insane and by far the best film in competition so far.
"An instant body horror classic, equal parts Freaky Friday and The Fly, Demi Moore going full demented. Loved."
According to IMDb, the film features Moore as a "fading celebrity" who resorts to a black market drug, a "cell replicating substance", in an attempt to regain her youth, albeit temporarily.
In a recent press release, it was revealed that Mubi will be bringing this unique body horror to cinema screens across the UK and Ireland.
Penned by Coralie Fargeat of Revenge fame, the film boasts a star-studded cast including Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley from Once Upon A Time, and Dennis Quaid of The Day After Tomorrow.
