Clarkson's Farm fans urge Jeremy to take action over girlfriend Lisa Hogan

Jeremy Clarkson shared a sweet post dedicated to his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, on Instagram.

Jeremy Clarkson posted a sweet tribute to his girlfriend and Clarkson's Farm co-star, Lisa Hogan - But fans all made the same demand from him.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter-turned-farmer shared a snap of his other half wearing a top hat, colourful scarf and a red shawl. He shared that they were marking a special occasion as he captioned the post: "Birthday Girl".

Jeremy's farmhand Kaleb Cooper asked Lisa, 51, what she thought of her birthday surprise from him. He commented: "Now the question is did Lisa like my singing this morning? [crying laughing emoji] Happy birthday @lisbentinck."

The former Top Gear presenter, 64, replied with a blunt: "No." But Lisa was a bit kinder as she wrote: "Adored [ok sign emoji]. All perfectly sung first 5 words."

Meanwhile, fans of the Amazon Prime show had another request for the loved-up couple. Posting in the comments, many demanded that Jeremy make a proposal to Lisa.

One quizzed: "When are you gonna propose? [ring emoji]". Another said: "Marry her for crying out loud". A third added: "Marry that woman!"

Someone else wrote: "Better put a ring on it! Happy Birthday Lisa." Meanwhile, a fifth said: "The council has approved marriage." Unfortunately, none of the cast members responded to their followers' pleas.

The requests come as fans saw Jeremy's Irish model girlfriend get a surprise sprung on her by the motoring journalist in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm 3 episodes. Jeremy took Lisa out into the fields hand-in-hand with his long-term squeeze as he told Lisa: “I’ve got a big surprise for you."

Lisa then asked him: “Ah, is it a proposal? Every time you say you’ve got a surprise I think ‘he’s going to propose'. Every time.”

Jeremy then laughed and took her to the site of a tree which had fallen down that he and Kaleb had managed to upright again in a previous episode. He told her: “Look at that. That’s the tree we put back up! I’m so happy. Because it had been down for six months. And it’s alive.”

She then added her four-word reaction to his (imagined) proposal as she told him: "I’m not ready yet. I’ll think about the proposal okay."

Lisa met Jeremy at a party through mutual friends. They dated for some time before officially becoming a couple in 2017.

Prior to life on Diddly Squat Farm, Lisa was a former model and actress. Roles included a researcher in Fawlty Towers in the 1990s and then in 1997 she had her film debut in Fierce Creatures.
