Presenter Gabby Logan has made a heart-wrenching confession about her health fears that may impact her career. The 51-year-old TV and radio host candidly shared that the onset of menopause triggered concerns she might forget people's names on air, citing brain fog as the most difficult aspect she had to navigate as a sports reporter.

To manage these difficulties, Gabby found relief in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and regular mental exercises to maintain focus.

She also adapted her work techniques to assuage her concerns and now continually keeps a piece of paper at hand during her reportage for necessary notes and reminders.

Expressing the severity of the fog and its influence on her, Gabby confided: "Feeling slightly unsure about things was such an unfamiliar feeling and I thought, 'Oh, God, am I going to keep doing my job if I can't recall somebody's name?'"

Despite the challenges, the Welsh-born presenter has fortified herself with useful strategies and discussed the benefits of HRT, telling Good Housekeeping: "Fortunately, HRT has been great and I try to do regular exercise for my brain now, whether that's testing myself on remembering numbers or people's names."

Ahead of the much-anticipated Paris Olympics, Gabby dazzled on the cover of Good Housekeeping's July edition, donning a gorgeous gold gown and a sleek white suit.

Gabby married sportsman Kenny Logan in 2001 and they share twins Lois and Reuben. Sharing the secret to their successful marriage, she told the outlet that supporting each other through tough times is crucial, likening marriage to a "team sport".

She said: "Sometimes there's going to be a player who needs picking up, and other times they're the star of the game and it's someone else who needs the boost."

The mother of two emphasised that maintaining a healthy marriage requires constant effort. Gabby also opened up about her fertility journey, revealing that the couple welcomed their twins via IVF in 2005

Speaking on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast with former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! winner Giovanna Fletcher, Gabby confessed: "I thought I'd have more children, I always thought I'd have four children. Just the other night I said to Kenny, when we were talking about our empty house and the future, that we should have had more children.

"I think I know how it happened, because when you have twins as your firstborn, you think life's going to get back to normal and it never does.

"I mean, that's the same with everybody, but we were waiting for that day where we felt: 'Everything's under control now. Now we can have another baby.' We should have just gone for it straight away."
