Angelina Jolie looks chic in suit and tie for premiere after daughter's bombshell decision

Angelina Jolie put on an elegant display at the opening night performance of Reefer Madness: The Musical.

For the star-studded premiere, the 48-year-old rocked a trendy look as she showed her support for the new show at The Whitley in Los Angeles.

Angelina opted for a fitted black two-piece suit that accentuated her slim frame.

She completed the look with a white t-shirt that had a grey printed tie on the front, creating the illusion she was wearing one.

The ex-wife of Brad Pitt accessorised with a pair of black shades and had her new blonde hair straightened into a chic style.

The Maleficent actress posed up a storm with her 15-year-old daughter and fellow Hollywood actress Kristen Bell.

The mother-daughter siting comes after Vivienne dropped the "Pitt" from her name in the theatre program for The Outsiders, a Broadway production she was involved in alongside Angelina.

The playbill simply listed the rising star as "Vivienne Jolie."

It's unclear whether this is merely a stage name or if she has made the change legally.

It seems the children of Angelina and Brad are at odds with their father - and Vivienne isn't the first to child to distance herself from the Pitt surname.

Her older sister Zahara also dropped Pitt from her name, identified herself solely as Zahara Marley Jolie.

An insider close to Brad described his divorce from the bombshell actress as "a sad situation for years." Telling People: "Since Angelina filed for divorce, Brad has been focused on having the best relationship possible with his kids.

"It's been very difficult for him. Many times, there have been long gaps where he didn't see the kids at all."
