Denise Welch has recently been at the centre of heated debates with both Stacey Solomon and Coleen Nolan on Loose Women.

Denise Welch has appeared to take a thinly-veiled swipe at her Loose Women co-stars, after bumping heads with both Coleen Nolan and Stacey Solomon in two separate instances recently. The 66-year-old appeared on Caroline Hirons' podcast Glad We Had This Chat and opened up about her relationships with her colleagues, explaining that she gets on well with some more than others.

She expressed: "Do I get on with some people more than others? Of course. That's human nature. I do most shows. Do I enjoy doing shows with other women who share my views or I know I can bounce off more? Of course, I do. I mean, Carol McGiffin and I used to have some humdingers on there, but as soon as we walked off-set, it was not even a thing."

Denise was involved in a heated debate with co-star Stacey during last Monday's episode (3 June) when the pair discussed working from home after speaking about stay-at-home husbands.

Stacey, 34, stressed that jobs being remote with flexible hours for working families had made life easier, particularly for those with children while Denise said she felt as though there wasn't enough staff available now and claimed the country is "grinding to a halt".

The latter ranted: "We haven't got the staff, where are the staff? They've disappeared!" Stacey replied: "They don't disappear because they're working from home," to which Denise then asked: "But, where are they Stace?"

Stacey went on to say she believed people are happier to work from home these days, due to the likes of nurses not being looked after or paid properly.

The Sort Your Life Out star also said she thinks the Covid pandemic proved that people can do an "adequate if not better job" from the comfort of their homes, as opposed to being in a working environment, to which Denise disagreed.

"I don't think working from home has made people lazy," Stacey continued.

"You think Covid has benefited a lot of things, I think Covid has ruined a lot of things," Denise chimed in, adding: "I do think there's been a shift in work ethic."

This comes after Denise clashed with Coleen, 59, as they were joined by royal expert Dickie Arbiter who claimed the Sussexes should never have "walked out" on the Royal Family. Denise claimed Prince Andrew is hardly ever mentioned during royal coverage as she hit out at the expert before Coleen quickly intervened.

As the pair went back and forth, host Coleen said: "Listen... we don't want [Dickie] on here to have a debate really. We want to know how Charles is doing now and, the future for Charles. It's not a debate."

"Well don't have a guest on," Denise blasted. "I can say what I like Coleen!" The Loose Women host replied: "I'm not saying you can't."
