Loose Women's Kaye Adams takes issue with co-star as daughter finds sex toy at her home
Loose Women star Kaye Adams confronted her co-star about her "lude and libidinous behaviour" after being left mortified by her teenage daughter's discovery.
Kaye Adams has spoken out about the embarrassing moment she was left having to explain what a sex toy was to her 17-year-old daughter after her podcast co-star left it at her home. The Loose Women anchor kicked off the latest episode of her How To Be 60 podcast by telling her co-star Karen MacKenzie about the awkward encounter, which led to the duo light-heartedly bickering about whose fault it was.
The 61-year-old began by saying to Karen that she didn't want to make her a cup of tea due to having "a bone to pick" with her. She continued to tell her: "Your lude and libidinous behaviour has taken the innocence from my 17-year-old daughter, Bonnie."
Finally clocking on to what she was referring to, Karen chimed in laughing: "Oh, I know what's coming." Kaye continued: "And she's holding in her hand, the erotic rocket which you left." Convinced it wasn't her fault, Kaye's co-star said: "No I gave it to you, if you had used it and appreciated it in the first place, it wouldn't be in this room, in the drawer, in the packet."
Not having any of it however, the Loose Women star claimed that it was Karen who left it on the table and so she was, therefore, responsible. Kaye added: "She came down, 17 years of age, with her friend behind her and said, 'Mum, what is this?'."
Recalling her reply to her daughter, the journalist said she initially tried to tell Bonnie that it was something else, before explaining that it was there due to Karen reviewing sex toys for Saga Magazine.
Kaye is mum to two daughters; Charly, 22, and Bonnie, whom she shares with her long-term partner Ian Campbell.

During a previous episode of Loose Women, she admitted to lying to her children about her age, up until Charly was 12.
She shared: "It’s pathetic but I lopped off 10 years and merrily lied away, including a fake date of birth which I had off pat.
"I’m generally an honest person but I’ve always been a good liar and parents lie all the time to little children.
“At the time I did it without thinking – it’s just a stupid habit you get into and think it’s funny.
"But now when I look back, I think, ‘Oh my God, you were sick’.”
Quizzed on how her children reacted, she said Charly was "genuinely disappointed" in her upon hearing the news.
The presenter went on to say that she hated her age and hadn't celebrated a birthday since she was 30.
This changed on her 60th birthday however when she got her first ever tattoo and embraced celebrations with her co-stars.
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
