22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford pens heartfelt tribute to son 10 years after death
Sue and Noel Radford, who star in 22 Kids and Counting, remembered their stillborn son, Alfie, who died a decade ago.
The woman with "Britain's largest family" has penned a sweet tribute to one of her children, 10 years after he was born stillborn. Star of 22 Kids and Counting, Sue Radford, remembered her "beautiful baby boy" Alfie as she penned a heartfelt message to mark a decade since his loss.
The 49-year-old, whose family is based in Morecambe, said that it "never gets easier" as she recalled the painful memory of the day that her 17th child was stillborn. Posting to her Instagram account the grieving mum shared a selection of images showing Alfie's tiny hand and foot prints as well as flowers at his graveside.
She wrote: "This time 10 years ago I was in a labour room being told our beautiful baby boy had no heartbeat. I would be induced a few hours later for him to be born silent but perfect at 7.54am the next morning.
"This time of year never ever gets easier. I cant believe it's 10 years tomorrow since he was born."
Alfie was stillborn on July 6, 2014, after the baby's heartbeat could no longer be found during their three-month scan. Every year, Sue and her husband, Noel Radford, post touching posts in memory of their late son.

Sue and Noel ended up welcoming 22 children in total and are now also grandparents to 13 more kids.
Sue started her journey of motherhood 35 years ago after meeting her husband Noel in Kendal, Lake District, as teenagers.
They tied the knot in 1992 when Sue was just 17, and their first child Chris, now 34, had already been born. Their large family includes Sophie, 29, Chloe, 28, Jack, 26, Daniel, 24, Luke, 22, Millie, 22, Katie, 20, James, 19, Ellie, 18, Aimee, 17, Josh, 16, Max, 14, Tillie, 13, Oscar, 11, Casper, 10, Hallie, eight, Phoebe, seven, Archie, six, Bonnie, four, and Heidie, three.

Recently, their eighth daughter, Katie, joyfully announced her pregnancy with her long-term boyfriend, Connor Carter.
The couple took to Instagram to share the delightful news, with 21 year old Katie setting off a cannon in a gender reveal, much to the delight of her followers, indicating a baby boy is on the way.
In an episode in January, the father-to-be moved into the Radfords' home after he and Katie convinced Sue and Noel that he was willing to pull his weight and help out with chores.
