Helen Skelton says 'one last goodbye'

Helen Skelton has 'a lot' to be grateful for and she made that known with a special social media post. The Morning Live host took to Instagram on Saturday to share her gratitude for some of the special things in her life.

Aside from having a successful career in TV, Helen, 40, is a doting mother of three to Ernie, eight, Louis, five and Elsie, two.

In the carousel post, the Countryfile presenter could be seen swinging her mini-lookalike daughter into the air during a wholesome walk in the countryside.

Elsie and Helen lovingly looked into each other's eyes as they enjoyed their special moment.

Elsewhere in the BBC host's upload, was a series of snapshots from work, photos of her two sons enjoying a meal outside, as well as a picture from the sidelines of a football match.

Helen also shared a dolled-up selfie of herself, seemingly sitting on the famous Morning Live sofa, as a golden pooch was perched on her lap.

She gave some context to her photo dump, penning: "LOTS to be grateful for this week. Peaceful passing of power. Hanging out with dogs on moors.

"A child with the capacity and opportunity to go on school trips. Colleagues who are brilliant and still allow for EVERYONE to make school pick up.

Garden picnics. Sunny sidelines. Hanging out with dogs on couches. Seeing 50% of your family at the football. A bit of creativity. Cake with my girls.

"When life is a hundred miles an hour I take pics to take a moment," she concluded her uplifting message.

Fans were quick to inundate the former Blue Peter presenter with gushing comments.
