Hailey and Justin Bieber have announced the birth of their first child together on Friday. Sharing the good news with the world, the 30-year-old pop star and the 27-year-old model also announced their new son's name.

In a loving Instagram post, Justin shared a snap of the newborn's tiny foot with Hailey's manicured finger stroking the bottom of it. The new bundle of joy was wrapped up in a fluffy blanket.

Proud new dad Justin captioned the post, sharing the little boy's name, as he wrote: "WELCOME HOME. JACK BLUES BIEBER." Notably, the couple didn't clarify when their son was born.

Hailey reposted the photo to her Instagram Stories shortly after Justin's initial post. She captioned it with a teddy bear emoji and a blue heart, writing, "Jack Blues."

It seems that Jack may be somewhat of a family name, as it is the middle name of Justin's dad - Jeremy Bieber. The baby also shares the same JB initials as his own dad.

Fans were delighted with the good news and flooded the comments of Justin's post with well wishes. One user wrote: "We are so happy, Congratulations Justin and Hailey, both of you will be a wonderful parents, God Bless forever your little Family."

Another added: "So happy for you both & welcome to the world Jack Bieber," while a third posted: "Congratulations and so happy for you guys."

The couple have been married since 2018 and Hailey announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child together via an adorable Instagram post back in May.

She recently spoke out about her fears about having a baby in the public eye, due to the online criticism she herself has received over the years.

Hailey confessed to the Sunday Times: "I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.

"I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child. We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe."
