Louise Redknapp flooded with support over incredible family announcement
Louise Redknapp has had an intensely emotional week following a major announcement about her son.
Louise Redknapp took to Instagram to share her joy after revealing that son Beau is officially following in his famous dad Jamie Redknapp's footsteps as a footballer.
Jamie was a professional sportsman for 16 years before retiring in 2005 and going on to become a Sky Sports pundit. Beau is still in his mid-teens but is already displaying the same potential, as he has been signed to Brentford FC.
"Beyond proud of my Beau Beau @beau_redknapp the Hard work pays off!" his mum enthused on Instagram. "Congratulations on signing to @brentfordfc I love you so much xxx."
She attached a picture of him and his elder brother Charley, who stood behind him and placed both hands proudly on his shoulders at the signing event. Fans, who were astonished at how quickly Beau has blossomed and come closer to being a fully fledged adult, flooded Louise's post with support.
Kate Thornton was one of the celebrity names to comment on the post, praising: "Amazing! Well done Beau!" Homes Under The Hammer host Lucy Alexander also attached a string of clapping emojis.

"It’s in his blood," one commented, while another added: "Oh Lou, he looks so grown up. Well done!"
"Brentford have Redknapp Jr and Beckham Jr on their books now!" a third pointed out, referencing last summer's announcement that Romeo Beckham was joining Brentford B on a permanent deal.
Others praised Beau for making his own way in life at such a young age, instead of relying on his wealthy parents to take care of him.
Beside his dad's obvious connection with football, Beau's grandfather Harry also made an appearance for Brentford back in 1976.

Meanwhile, older brother Charley recently celebrated his 20th birthday - a bittersweet experience for Louise since her USA move led to the pair being oceans apart.
She wrote on Instagram: "I’m beyond proud of you Chaz and everything you are achieving. My partner in crime from day one.
"I’m so happy to see you following your dreams, getting out there and experiencing new things.
"It took a lot of courage to move over to America but you are smashing it and I miss you everyday you are away and always look forward to the Summer holidays when you are home."
