Barlow recruits Gaga and Coldplay for charity concert

Pop star GARY BARLOW has recruited COLDPLAY and LADY GAGA to headline a fundraiser concert for charity.

The Take That singer has been put in charge of organising the Children In Need stage spectacular, which will also feature Elbow, Canadian crooner Michael Buble and actor-turned-blues singer Hugh Laurie.

But Barlow reveals he is hoping to land a few more big-name acts and surprise guests before the 17 November (11) show at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

He says, "I'm so thrilled that these incredible artists are giving their time for such a special charity that is very close to my heart. There are still some great acts we're keeping up our sleeve to announce in the coming weeks and who knows, I might even sing a little something on the night too."

The concert will tie in to the BBC's annual Children In Need TV fundraiser, which raised more than £18 million for disadvantaged children last year (10).
