Sopranos star James Gandolfini leaves £46m estate
ACTOR James Gandolfini has left the bulk of his £46million estate to his 13-year-old son and baby daughter.
The Sopranos star died after a heart attack two weeks ago, aged 51, while on holiday with his son Michael in Italy.
Michael will have access to the largest part of his inheritance through a trust when he turns 21.
He will share his father’s Italian property with his half-sister, eight-month-old Liliana, when her trust comes into fruition at 25.
The actor also left millions to his wife, former model Deborah Lin, and relatives.
The star also left his personal assistant and secretary £65,000 each.
The Sopranos ran for six seasons on TV from the late 1990s to of 2007. Gandolfini, who played mob boss Tony Soprano, was estimated to be earning $1million per episode at one point.
He divorced Michael’s mother, Marcy Wudarski, in December 2002 before going on to marry Deborah in 2008.
