Looking good for 44! Helena Christensen strips off for raunchy magazine photo shoot
SHE may be 44-years-old but Helena Christensen has a body that women half her age would envy.
The Danish supermodel looks incredible in a new photo shoot for FutureClaw magazine, in which she strips completely naked to show off her stunning figure.
However, despite Gianni Versace describing her figure as "the best body in the world," Christensen doesn't exactly agree with this comment and told the publication that she believes "all the naked women in Helmut Newton’s pictures" deserve that title instead.
"They were long, lean, toned and yet feminine and curvaceous," she explained. But that is exactly what she is in the saucy photographs, which were shot by Gregory Derkenne inside Christensen's own New York apartment.
The mother-of-one actually styled herself for the shoot, which most of the time included little or no clothing at all.
In one image, Christensen is seen lying on a wooden worktop wearing a skimpy brown dress and surrounded by her personal possessions, including a photograph of her 13-year-old son Mingus.
Another photo shows her holding an ornament of a white swan as she cheekily lifts up her black dress to reveal her bottom while gazing into the camera lens.
Christensen, who has never married, split from Mingus' father Norman Reedus ten years ago, and appears to currently be single.
Telling FutureClaw what a man should do if he wants to be her boyfriend, she said he should "Make me laugh, love and feel. And make me feel I do the same for him."
On the cover of the magazine, the brunette can be seen wearing a black low-cut slip as she kisses Mingus's pet lizard.
Other photographs see Christensen wearing high-waisted pink knickers, a black strapless bra and a vintage-looking cream dress.
Speaking about style, and who she admires, Christensen admitted to the magazine that Marilyn Monroe is one of her favourite female icons and added: "Jean Seberg and Jane Birkin are two others.
"Their style is effortless, personal and greatly compliment their personalities.
"I think Willem de Koenig and Lucien Freud had amazing presence and style, not to mention otherworldly talents."
The full interview with Christensen can be seen in the latest issue of FutureClaw magazine.
