Torrential rain lashes Transformers stars at premiere
MARK WAHLBERG and his TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION castmates had to brave monsoon conditions for the world premiere of the action film in Hong Kong on Thursday (19Jun14).
The overcast conditions which greeted director Michael Bay and his cast as they arrived on the red carpet, gave way to torrential rain, sending everyone under umbrellas for press interviews.
Bay admitted he was just happy to be there with a finished film - he was still editing the movie on the eve of the premiere.
He tells Entertainment Tonight, "I just finished it yesterday... I didn't think we were gonna make the release date."
And nothing could dampen Imagine Dragons' spirits - the Las Vegas-based band performed at the premiere and were just delighted to be in Hong Kong.
Frontman Dan Reynolds said, "We've never even been to a movie premiere."
