Home town names theatre after Heath
The government in Heath Ledger's home state in Australia has named a theatre in the late actor's honour.
Western Australia Premier Alan Carpenter said the 91 million Australian dollar (£44 million), 575-seat theatre in the capital, Perth, was a fitting tribute to Ledger because he was always supportive of other young actors.
Ledger died at 28 in New York in January of an accidental prescription drug overdose.
The Perth-born actor rose to international stardom after his critically-acclaimed performance in 2005's Brokeback Mountain.
