DESPITE appearing in rival soap operas, siblings Ryan and Adam Thomas couldn't have a stronger brotherly bond and describe themselves as a "close unit".

The pair, who appear in Coronation Street and Emmerdale, have revealed they would "die for each other" while discussing growing up on camera.
In an exclusive family photoshoot for OK! magazine, the brothers also reveal what it is like being fathers to Scarlett, six, and 14-month-old Teddy.
After admitting to bickering in their teenage years, Adam said that he, twin Scott, and Ryan, 33, are actually the best of friends now.
"We’re lucky to be brothers who are best friends. We would die for each other. We are a close unit," the 27-year-old, who portrays the Dales' Adam Barton, said.

Adam went on to reveal that he and girlfriend Caroline Daly are not planning to walk down the aisle in the near future, however a second child could be on the cards.
When asked if he was planning to propose, the actor admitted: "I know she wants it [laughs]. But I don’t think anytime soon.
"We might have another baby first. When we had Teddy I just thought that would be it but I’d like to have another one now."

Meanwhile, Ryan, who was seen posing with his and his former co-star Tina O'Brien's little girl, said he was both "scared and excited" about leaving Corrie.
The television regular announced he was quitting in October after playing Jason Grimshaw for the past 16 years.
"I’m feeling a mixed bag of emotions as I don’t feel like I know anything else. It’s the biggest decision I have ever made in my whole career. I am going to miss my Corrie family so much," Ryan added.
