US SINGER Janet Jackson has revealed she's planning to start a family aged 50.

In a Twitter video posted this morning, the star apologised for delaying her world tour again but said it was important she "does this now".
She began the video by saying: "Hey guys, on August 31st I launched the Unbreakable world tour. First I just want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show, thank you so much, you guys made it so enjoyable for me each and every night.
"We're in the second leg of the tour and there has actually been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know, my husband and I are planning our family so I'm gonna have to delay the tour."
Janet continued: "Please if you can try and understand that it's important I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders but I have not forgotten about you and I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

She then went on to thanks her fans for their "undying love", her backing dancers and Live Nation.
She signed off by saying: "I will see you soon, I love you."
Janet married her third husband Wissam Al Mana in 2012. Her previous marriages were to James DeBarge and René Elizondo, Jr.
upon seeing her video today, Janet's fans bombarded her with their well-wishes, congratulating their idol with overwhelming support.

However, some weren't as enthusuastic with many fuming that they'll have to wait months for the singer's Unbreakable world tour to resume - if she brings the show back on the road at all.
In December last year, Janet announced she was postponing her Unbreakable tour until the spring to have an unspecified surgical procedure.
At that time, her statement asked for prayers of support and said no further details on her medical condition would be disclosed.
