World Cup 2018: Rebekah Vardy cosies up to Jamie hours after England’s win against Sweden
REBEKAH VARDY and footballer husband Jamie snuggled up together after his win against Sweden in the World Cup tournament saw England sail through to the semi-finals for the first time since 1990.
World Cup: Rebekah Vardy celebrates with England fans in Russia
Jamie Vardy, 31, took some time away from the football field to enjoy the company of his beloved wife Rebekah after England defeated Sweden in the knock-out stages of the World Cup.
Taking to Instagram hours after England’s 2-0 win over Sweden, Rebekah shared a sweet picture of herself posing beside her footballer beau.
The 36-year-old used a playful heart filter for the cute snap, which saw both her and Jamie surrounded by pink love hearts as they rocked sunglasses.
Smouldering for the camera, Jamie pouted and squinted his eyes while Rebekah leaned in closer to her other half and also puckered up.
The couple, who have rarely been pictured together since the football tournament began, looked to be enjoying each other’s company.
I’m one of the older wives, so I try to help out any of the new girls to the group if they need it
Rebekah has been supporting her husband from the sidelines since the World Cup started and regularly posts pictures of herself wearing an England jersey.
She previously sported a mini-dress, baring the words “England 2018” and received dozens of compliments for the on-trend look.
One admirer wrote: “Liking that little number Becky,” while another added: “Wow you look amazing.”
A third praised: “Absolutely stunning as ever and cracking pair of legs.”
Someone else commented: “You look gorgeous Beck,” while a fifth exclaimed: “Wow I love this!”
A different person penned: “Your so beautiful, amazing and truly wonderful.”
Rebekah, who was dubbed the “Queen of the World Cup Wags” by some publications, recently blasted the title, admitting it makes her “cringe”.
In her OK! Magazine column, she wrote: "I read that I’d been referred to as the ‘Queen of the wives and girlfriends’, which made me cringe.
"I don’t see myself that way and there is no queen or anyone in charge – we are all our own people with our own identities."
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star went on to explain that while she did not agree with the nickname, she had been on hand to offer support to other loved ones of the England squad.
“I think I’m one of the older wives, so I try to help out any of the new girls to the group if they need it,” she spilled.
“But that’s just the mothering side of me!”
The mother-of-four previously confessed she had not done the business with husband Jamie, despite England boss Gareth Southgate not banning sex.
She said: “Jamie and I FaceTime at least once a day and we’ve been really lucky with how much we’ve been able to see him.
"There is no sex ban, but I think we’d struggle to do it anyway with the kids around – it wouldn’t work logistically."
