Romania influx a disaster
THE crime and anti-social behaviour being perpetrated in central London by rough sleepers from Romania is a mere taste of things to come.
Once all immigration restrictions are removed from Romania and Bulgaria at the end of the year then other British towns and cities can expect to experience similar problems.
It is all very well for calls to be made to the Romanian government to send over police officers to help keep a lid on the problems.
But it would be better by far were councils instead to start issuing calls for our own Government not to open the floodgates to a major new influx of poor and desperate immigrants from Eastern Europe.
