Should the Royal Mail be sold off?
The Royal Mail will be privatised in a move worth £3 billion, the Government confirmed yesterday.
As part of the sell-off, Royal Mail workers will be handed shares in the company and given the option to add to their portfolio at a discounted rate.
Business Secretary Vince Cable has said the universal service and the six-day-a-week service will be protected.
The Communication Workers Union is opposed to privatisation, and wants the terms and conditions of its members to be protected before any sell-off.
Do you think it is time to privatise Royal Mail, or should the company remain in the hands of the public?
