Robert Downey Jnr: 'Let Mel Gibson work'
MEL GIBSON’s career has stalled since he was caught in the midst of an anti-Semitic rant in 2006.
But now Robert Downey Jnr believes it’s time for Hollywood to let bygones be bygones.
Accepting a tribute from the American Cinématheque in LA Downey, 46, said: “Unless you are without sin you should forgive him and let him work.”
Gibson’s first film since his diatribe, The Beaver, didn’t go down well earlier this year.
