Jamie, who was launched on TV as the Naked Chef when working for Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers of London’s River Café, says: “The best cooks in the world are women.
"The chefs are men because men are naturally pretentious.
"What men have done to cooking is turn it into a craft and they are very good at it.”
