Bank on it Russell
While comedian Russell Brand was one of the most famous faces at the G20 protests in the City of London over the role of bankers in the global economic downturn, it seems he didn’t always have such a poor opinion of financiers.
Our girl with the peaceful placard was standing near the woolly-hatted Brand during the demo and reports: “He was talking to a male chum and sheepishly confessed that when he was a little boy he once wanted to be a banker when he grew up and even had a toy Fisher-Price cash register. He said that was something he left out of his autobiography.”
