FIFTH HARMONY star Lauren Jauregui has said she is happier than ever as the band release their third album - alluding to discontent with their previous output.
Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui has reflected on the group's past hits
It’s been a rocky road for the former X Factor USA finalists: Camila Cabello quit the group last December, following months of rumours about feuding, exhaustion and cancelled tour dates.
Now, speaking to Huffington Post’s BUILD Series, Jauregui said when asked what keeps the group going: “A contract! I wish that was a joke.
“But it’s fine! It’s a good thing! We definitely work hard and we want to keep our fans engaged… we want to give them new music.
“And we want new music - because touring the same songs over and over again is exhausting.”

Normani Kordei chimed in: “And songs that we were given.”
“Boring,” agreed Lauren. “We weren’t really believing in those songs either.
“We’re grateful to be on this third album. I’ve never experienced this kind of happiness.
“I’m excited to wake up for work.”

The group performed at the MTV VMAs on Sunday and appeared to allude to Cabello’s departure when a backing dancer - a fifth silhoutte alongside the band - fell off the stage.
The new album has also yielded the new single He Like That, the video for which debuted at the weekend.
Fifth Harmony’s self-titled new album is out now.
