Bob Dylan: Together Through Life
TOGETHER Through Life is minor Dylan.
It is essentially a major‑key blues album overloaded with Bob’s supreme talent for mischief and kindly late-life grouchiness.
But any record with songs as naughty as My Wife’s Home Town or If You Ever Go To Houston could never get truly serious, even one created by a genius as bathetic as Dylan’s.
Still, his fine radio show last year brought him plenty of musical credit to make borderline duds for a while.
VERDICT 3/5
