Nicole Farhi chain is saved
FASHION brand Nicole Farhi has been rescued from administration by entrepreneur Maxine Hargreaves-Adams.
Maxine, the daughter of Matalan founder John Hargreaves, paid an undisclosed sum for the business with four shops and nine concessions. When it collapsed this month it had six shops, 10 concessions and 75 staff.
The new owner said she was delighted to have bought an “iconic and much-loved British brand”. Nicole Farhi joins her stable of brands including Fenn Wright Manson.
