Small companies round up: Blackwoods Gin brand sale approval raises Distil
INVESTORS raised a glass to Distil, up 0.43p to 1.35p, after its Blackwoods Gin brand was approved for sale and distribution in the US, while solid annual figures boosted Impax Asset Management, 4½p richer at 50½p.

Mobile payments business Monitise rang up a 3½p rise to 34p after a £49.2million investment by Santander, Telefonica and MasterCard.

Savannah Petroleum was 2p slicker at 37p after starting an aerial survey over its acreage in Niger, which will help the company identify where to focus the near-term drilling campaign.
Industrial sensor systems provider Transense Technologies fell 1.63p to 4¼p as it warned of the impact on orders from potential customers in the mining industry whose spending budgets have been squeezed by falling commodity prices.
