Liz Truss

Liz Truss was the leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister of the UK for 45 days, resigning after a mini-budget announcement rocked the economy. Her exit made her the shortest-lived Prime Minister in UK history.

Ms Truss first became the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for South West Norfolk in 2010 and since has served in several cabinet posts, including Foreign Secretary and International Trade Secretary. She lost her seat to Labour in the 2024 general election.

She is married to Hugh O'Leary and the couple have 2 children.
