Sometimes a basic instant coffee won't cut it, especially if you're used to a Starbucks every day before work. Even though you can get a takeaway or delivery, knowing how to make your own at home is beneficial. Don't worry, you can make a frappuccino at home without being a skilled barista. Express.co.uk talks you through British kitchen appliance brand Dualit's recipe for the perfect frappuccino.
Making your own frappucino is NOT complicated– it only takes five minutes!
This recipe makes one drink, so you'll have to multiply if you want to serve others too.

Ingredients
- 8 x milk ice cubes (prepare these overnight)
- Double espresso
- 2 tsp of your favourite syrup
- Whipped cream (optional to serve)
- Chocolate powder (optional to serve)
Method
Step one
Gather your ingredients to speed up the process.
You will also need a blender.
Step two
Place 8 milk ice cubes into a blender.
You can make these yourself by pouring milk into an ice cube tray and leaving it overnight.
If you are dairy-free, there's an option for you.
You can use plant milk instead to make vegan ice cubes.
Try almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk and get blending.

Step three
Add the double espresso to the blender
A double espresso is two espresso shots in one single-serve capsule.
If you prefer less caffeine, you can buy single-serve capsules.
Step four
Add in two tablespoons of your favourite syrup.
If you're watching your waistline, there are lower-calorie versions.
Step five
That's the difficult part out of the way, now it's time to whizz it all up.
Blend all the ingredients together until they become one.
Step six
Pour the mix into a glass and drink up!
You could add a whole range of toppings to spice it up a little.
Popular options include whipped cream and chocolate powder.
You could also opt for some caramel drizzle, pumpkin spice powder, or crumbled cookies.
