'Not many people know this yummy scrambled egg and mustard hack - but I use it weekly'
The clever hack adds a boost of flavour to your scrambled eggs while simultaneously reducing waste.
Rather than washing out any last bits of sauce or jam from leftover jars before recycling, a TikTok food influencer has unveiled a clever hack which reduces waste and can give a flavour kick to your weekend scrambled eggs. Claire who posts recipes and cooking tips to her TikTok @condimentclaire said: "I use this hack weekly".
However, she realised that not many other people knew about the hack.

Claire said: "It has come to my attention that not many of you know the empty mustard egg jar hack. No, this is not for salad dressing, this is for scrambling eggs. It's truly as easy as it seems."
Claire showed how she can make use of any sauce, jam or other condiments which are left remaining in empty jars.
In her video, the creator picked up an almost finished jar of mustard and explained how to enhance eggs using the remaining sauce you are unable to get out with cutlery.
"Left over mustard jar, right? We are going to pub one egg in there, done. Put the next egg in there, done," she said.

Claire cracked two eggs into the jar and then presented it to the camera to show the uncooked egg whites and yolk inside.
"Lid on, shake, and this is how you scramble your egg," she said. Now it's time to make your scrambled eggs as you usually would. Pour the mixture from the jar into your pan and scramble.
Claire added: "You can literally do this with jam, with grainy mustard, with chutney, with chilli oil, with chilli jam, literally anything. And there you go, you have got nice yummy eggs and a well-used jar of dijon."
Easy step-by-step method to make scrambled eggs
Step one: Whisk eggs, salt and pepper in a small bowl. If using the jar method above, skip whisking in a small bowl and shake in a jar instead. Melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Step two: Pour in egg mixture and reduce heat to medium-low. As eggs begin to set, gently move the spatula across the bottom and side of the skillet to form large, soft curds.
Step three: Cook until eggs are thickened and no visible liquid egg remains, but the eggs are not dry.
