'Go-to' 10 minute meal is a 'spicy, sweet and sour' twist on your usual egg dish
The recipe is an unusual twist on eggs but can be whipped up in just 10 minutes.
Eggs are a staple for weekends and bank holidays, whether you're enjoying a slow morning with a special breakfast or celebrating with a family brunch. But if you want an extra special twist on the usual egg dish, TikTok chef Tiff Cooks has a recipe which she says delivers "spicy, sweet and sour" eggs.

As an added bonus, the dish takes just 10 minutes to make and can take you from brunch through to dinner.
Tiff described it as her "go-to 10-minute meal". Tiff began by making the sauce, showing how even the most novice of cooks can make it.
"The sauce is super easy add in soy sauce, rice vinegar, a little bit of ketchup, sugar, minced garlic, chilli oil and finally water and cornstarch," she said.
When it comes to the eggs, you can amend the amount you use depending on how many people you are cooking for.

If you're just cooking for one, then two to three eggs is enough, depending on how hungry you are.
Mix the sauce together and then pan-fry them. "Pan fry the eggs for two to three minutes and drizzle on the sauce," explained Tiff.
"Simmer for two or three minutes or until the sauce has thickened and serve over hot rice. Now look at that."
As an alternative, you could serve your eggs on noodles.
How to make spicy, sweet and sour eggs
Ingredients
- Two or three eggs
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Ketchup
- Sugar
- Minced garlic
- Chilli oil
- Water
- Cornstarch
- Rice or noodles
Method
Step one: Begin by mixing your sauce. Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, a little bit of ketchup, sugar, minced garlic, chilli oil, water and cornstarch.
Step two: Crack your eggs into a pan and fry them for between two and three minutes.
Step three: Drizzle your sauce over the eggs.
Step four: Simmer for two or three minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
Step five: Serve over hot rice or noodles.
