8. Bourbon
A custard cream's chocolately cousin, the Bourbon biscuit was first introduced in London way back in 1910. It's a sandwich biscuit formed from two chocolate-flavoured biscuits with a chocolately buttercream filling.
7. Shortbread
A traditional Scottish biscuit, shortbread is a simple biscuit that's truly delicious. The sweet treats are made from sugar, butter and wheat flour and are often served in shapes.
6. Gingernut
As it says on the tin, gingernut biscuits are flavoured with ginger and the recipes often include other spices as well. Commonly included spices are cinnamon, molasses and cloves.
