Nowadays there's a life hack for pretty much everything out there.

Just recently, people were mind-blown after learning a "hidden" supermarket code to help you pick out the freshest food. A savvy mum shared the supermarket secret that could change the way you shop for groceries.

And now turning our attention to pineapples, did you know there's an easy method to enjoy the fruit? It's no secret pineapples are incredibly tangy and sour, but also difficult to cut up and serve.

But thanks to people on X, formerly Twitter, there's a unique method to enjoy your refreshing fruit without creating a mess. The Today Years Old account, which boasts 1million followers, is renowned for sharing handy hacks with fans.

Its latest post on social media certainly left foodies astonished after learning the correct way to cut a pineapple.

The caption read: "The way nature intended us to eat pineapple."

In the enlightening video, it shows the pineapple neatly divided into several sections, requiring you to simply tear off a piece to savour. As the segments are always separated on the fruit, all you need to do is peel a part for yourself.

And it appears we weren't the only ones to uncover this revelation as the post amassed 100,600 views with 640 likes since it was posted on August 23.

One individual commented: "Wow I didn't know about this." While another added: "Need to try it!"

A third commented: "I thought this was common knowledge. If not, it's the result of buying food pre-processed at the store." And a fourth individual remarked: "It doesn't work."

The conversation took a turn as some found the method extreme, as one critic slammed: "Only psychos would do this."

Not only are pineapples a delight to munch on, but they also pack a punch with numerous health benefits. This tropical treat is loaded with nutrients and beneficial compounds like vitamin C, which can aid digestion.

Moreover, it's known to bolster immunity, reduce cancer risk, and even speed up recovery post-surgery.
