SWEAT STAINS can plague your clothes and leave stubborn marks. Here's how to get rid of sweat stains.
Mrs Hinch uses tumble dryer sheets to clean her blinds
Whether you’ve worked up a sweat during a workout or you’re on holiday somewhere hot, you’re bound to stain your clothes. Perspiration stains can be tricky to remove from your clothes, but there is a solution.
Washing that white t-shirt to remove sweat stains from the armpit area won’t do the trick.
Sweat contains urea, a compound which reacts with salts to create a yellow mark.
Urea mixes with deodorant which will make the stain even worse, unfortunately!
So what is the remedy? How do you banish these yellow stains from your clothes?

How to get rid of sweat stains
Rinse
As soon as you spot a mark appearing, rinse the area with cold water.
Gently rub the stained part of the fabric together, as this should loosen the stain.
Let it dry to assess how bad the damage is.
If the stain is still there, try some of the following hacks.
Deodorant stain remover
Sometimes your deodorant can stain your clothes, and this can make the problem much worse.
Try using antiperspirant stain remover Deo-Go to get rid of these stains.
Spritz the stain on both sides of the fabric and let it sit for half an hour.
Wash the garment as normal.
It isn’t recommended to try this on coloured garments, as the product could react with the dye.

Baking soda
Are your stubborn sweat stains refusing to disappear? Try baking soda and warm water.
Mix four tablespoons of baking soda with a quarter of a cup of warm water.
Work the paste into the stain with your fingers and let it soak in for half an hour.
Wash the item as usual and, hopefully, the stain will be gone!
Aspirin
Aspirin does more than cure your headache, it’s a great tool for removing sweat stains from clothes.
Crush two aspirin pills and mix the powder in half a cup of warm water.
Soak the stained clothing in the mixture for up to three hours.
Then, wash your piece of clothing as normal. The stain should be diminished.
White vinegar
White vinegar is one of Mrs Hinch’s favourite natural cleaning resources, and fans across the nation use it to clean up all sorts of messes.
This trick works for stains that have been left for days on end but needs to be used in isolation (don’t try the other hacks at the same time as this one!)
Pour vinegar directly onto the stain and let it soak for half an hour.
Wash the clothing as usual and the stain should have improved.
