The expert advised watering the plant when the top inch of soil becomes dry, and allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

As well as peace lilies, there are other plants that can help purify your home.
Known for its air purifying properties is the spider plant, which is easy to care for.
Daniel said: "Its cascading leaves effectively remove harmful toxins, such as formaldehyde and carbon monoxide, from the air, ensuring a healthier and more breathable environment."
Relatively easy to care for, the spider plant can thrive in a variety of lighting conditions, making it an excellent choice for any home, he explained.
