Quirks of British hotels are things we're all likely used to, because many of us will have stayed in one for one reason or another.
However, one American man was left baffled by some of the features his UK hotel room had.
TiKTok user @cooper.little24 captioned his video: "My first day in the UK. Hotel update. Things are definitely different over here but I think I can manage".
In the clip, he pointed out the things he "noticed right off the bat". His first gripe was that there's "no mini fridge", because there isn't a place for him to put his beer.
He pointed at the kettle, saying: "That coffee maker is pretty small". He also didn't like that there was "no microwave" and that the "TV is tiny".

However, he admitted that his "real complaints" are about the bathroom, sharing that he thought the bathtub was "abnormally tall". "You have to literally step up into the bathtub", he shared.
The traveller said after he showered, he "almost fell down" because he's not used to it. He also fumed that the "toilet paper only comes out two sheets at a time", as it's in a specific dispenser.

The man launched into a rant about how he liked to use more loo roll for extra "coverage", calling it "weird" that only two sheets came out at a time. "No washcloths", he whined, "They only use hand towels".
Brits have been left baffled by his reaction to a "normal" bathroom, with many taking to the comments section to set him straight. One person commented: "Washcloths are considered personal items, and you'd be expected to supply your own."
Another bemused Brit added: "Calling a kettle a coffee maker is wild", while someone else joked: "Most Americans don't have electric kettles, he's probably never seen one before, would be fun to see him make a drink" adding a series of crying with laughter emojis.
