We all enjoy a spa treatment from time to time.
A good facial or a relaxing back massage can do us the world of good and recharge our batteries, helping us to feel less stressed. But did you know a "spa treatment" for your bed could also help rejuvenate the mattress, headboard, and more?
Cleaning guru Anna, who posts on TikTok as @anna_louisa_at_home, shared the perfect method to "give your bed a spa treatment", and you'll need a common cleaning product and some essential oils to make it look and smell incredible. Over the top of the video she wrote: "Three steps to deep clean your bed."
She then explained that firstly, you need to "sprinkle over bicarbonate of soda", saying "a few drops of essential oil" makes it smell really nice. She said her favourite essential oil to use is lavender.
Of course, lavender is a popular choice as it is thought to promote sleep, and it can calm the body and mind.
She then recommended you "leave for around 30 minutes (so the bicarbonate of soda can deodorise the mattress and remove any moisture) before vacuuming up."
The woman then claimed you need to "refresh your headboard with warm water and a few drops of washing-up liquid. I use the pan lid hack for this as I find the cloth glides around the headboard much more easily".

Anna then recommended you put "fresh sheets" on your bed, and then "you're done" with the process, and can "sleep well".
In the comments section, individuals complimented her bed, describing it as "so comfy", and some queried "how often" this process should be followed. She responded: "Once every couple of months."
