A woman has wowed people with her jaw-dropping house transformation after buying kitchen units for £50.

Many of us have areas of our home that we might want to improve or upgrade, but the reality is that it can be a costly affair.

Between rising bills, expensive food prices, and other expenses, you may not have the money to create you "dream" home. But mum-of-three Louise insists you do not need to fork out a fortune to renovate your living space.

The mum, who lives in Banbury with her husband Peter and their children, loves all things home DIY and styling. She has raked in more than 13,000 followers on Instagram, where she has been documenting her home renovation.

Louise, known as @thestylepad_uk online, swears by finding boot sale bargains, and is not afraid to use materials found at skip sites.

Recently, Louise's resourcefulness enabled her to transform her kitchen into a modern and luxurious space. Using Facebook Marketplace - where people often flog their unwanted items for a bargain - she found a whole kitchen and oven for sale for £50.

Her once-dull kitchen is now a stunning green colour with marble-pattern countertops and gold finishings. She explained in a short video exactly how she was able to achieve it - and people cannot believe it.

Louise said: "We found a second hand kitchen on Facebook Marketplace and decided to turn it into the kitchen of our dreams. With the help of my father-in-law we got to work ripping out the cellar's kitchen - all the drawers, doors, carcasses and oven - which was included in the deal."

After picking up the kitchen units, Louise, Peter and her father-in-law put them into their home's new extension space. "It was absolute chaos," she admitted.

The three of them began building the pieces of the kitchen set and manipulated the parts to fit their space. Then they painted all the cabinets - first with a primer before adding a "gorgeous" green coloured paint.

Louise also added new combat laminate countertops and splashbacks, and even DIY'd an oven hood. Finally, after all the cabinets were installed, she added gold finishings.

People rushed to comment on the video. One individual said: "You got that oven included? So so jealous."

"Looks fabulous," said another. One other wrote: "Still can't believe you got this off Facebook Marketplace, it's the best transformation," said another.
