Virgin Media takes aim at Sky with massive TV and broadband discounts
WANT to start the New Year with cheaper TV and broadband bills? Virgin Media is offering some big discounts in its big January sale event.
The Boxing Day sales usually feature some big discounts and this year Virgin Media is taking the fight to Sky with some mega offers on its TV and broadband plans. Right now you can sign up for Virgin's Big M100 bundle for just £29.99 per month - that's over £8 off the standard price.
This package includes Virgin's speedy 100Mbps broadband speeds plus access to over 100 TV channels plus there are free calls at the weekends thrown in for good measure.
If 100 channels doesn't sound enough to binge on, then Virgin is also offering money off its Bigger Bundle. This plan includes over 190 channels along with that same speedy broadband and Talk Weekends plan.
The Bigger Bundle usually costs £57 per month but Virgin has slashed that price to just £45 in the Boxing Day sale event.
Along with these cuts, the firm has also announced some smartphone bargains.
