There are some MAJOR changes coming to the Apple Store
APPLE customers could get an entirely new shopping experience the next time they pop-into an Apple Store to upgrade their iPhone, Mac or Watch.
Apple has overhauled the look of its retail stores for Union Square
Apple has opened the doors of its new flagship retail store, the Apple Store Union Square, in San Francisco, California.
The cutting-edge new shop could pave the way for changes to Apple Stores across the globe.
The new store includes a stripped-back new look and has a pair of enormous 42-foot tall glass doors that slide open to let customers wander in.
Once inside, customers will enjoy a bright and open feel, thanks to a swathe of interactive themed displays to highlight different products and services in Apple's current line-up.
And there is a new outdoor plaza which will be open to the public 24 hours a day, and includes complimentary public wifi and seating.
Cases and accessories are now highlighted on the wall thanks to custom drawers

Outside, Apple fans can enjoy a series of acoustic performances and other music acts.
And if you're not shopping for a new Apple gadget, or enjoying the complimentary concerts outside, you can stop-by the Genius Grove for a tutorial or problem-fixing session.
This area invites customers to get support working side-by-side with Geniuses under the comfortable canopy of local trees in the heart of the store.

Apple has also included a custom built 444-inch 6K Television, which reportedly cost around £1 million to install.
Speaking about the new store, Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores Angela Ahrendts said: “Fifteen years ago today Apple opened its first two stores and we’re thrilled to mark the occasion with the opening of Apple Union Square in San Francisco.
“We are not just evolving our store design, but its purpose and greater role in the community as we educate and entertain visitors and serve our network of local entrepreneurs."
And British design genius Jonathan Ive, added: "We have a deep commitment to the cities we work in, and are aware of the importance that architecture plays in the community,
"It all starts with the storefront – taking transparency to a whole new level – where the building blends the inside and the outside, breaking down barriers and making it more egalitarian and accessible.”
