Queen Letizia of Spain looks 'spectacular' in red for state dinner with King Felipe
Queen Letizia and King Felipe of Spain met German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Buedenbender ahead of a banquet in Berlin.
The glamorous state dinner was held in honour of the Spanish royal couple at the presidential Bellevue Palace, in Germany. For the occasion, Queen Letizia chose a stunning red cape dress.
Queen Letizia looked incredible in a red Stella McCartney gown with one-shouldered cape detail.
The Spanish monarch previously wore this design for King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands' 2017 birthday party in The Hague.
The Stella McCartney's Cecilia dress is an elegant design featuring an asymmetrical cape train. The gown is no longer available but it used to retail for around £2,435.
For the state dinner in Germany, Letizia combined the dress with a gold clutch bag and donned a pair of sparkling drop earrings.

Queen Letizia wore her diamond and ruby chandelier earrings for the state dinner, which she debuted in February 2017 and wore again for the royal birthday party in the Netherlands that same year.
The earrings feature 216 cascading diamonds and 12 rubies but the origin of the jewel remains a mystery.
The Spanish monarch combined them with a matching ruby flower bracelet that belonged to her mother-in-law Queen Sofia and that she debuted during her trip to Korea in 2019.
A pair of gold sandals from Jimmy Choo valued at 750 euros (£649) finished Letizia's regal look.
Letizia decided to keep her hair in a low braided bun to focus the attention on her impressive earrings.
Queen Letizia and King Felipe of Spain travelled to Germany to highlight and strengthen the ties and bilateral relations between both countries.
Their official programme includes a visit to Frankfurt for the opening of the Book Fair, in which Spain is the guest country.
