Children's Parliament to hold debate on democracy
Research says seven in 10 young people do not feel political parties address issues they care about.

The Children's Parliament is to debate democracy amid fears of disillusionment among young people.
The British Youth Council claims 71% of the young do not feel political parties address issues they care about.
Andrew Fox, executive director of the Children’s Parliament, said: “We can’t afford to have an entire generation switch off from the political process.”
Child Prime Minister Clark Dearson, 11, said: “Democracy is important because no one gets left out.”
