Britain’s main betting websites have opened more than one market dedicated to details of the birth of Meghan and Prince Harry’s royal baby. Ladbrokes, Skybet, PaddyPower are all giving punters and royal fans the possibility to bet on the royals’ baby’s first name, their gender, their birth date. Betfair, another British betting company, has also listed a number of bizarre markets, which see Meghan and Harry’s child competing with Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
Among the bets available, Betfair allows gambling on who, among the babies, will have the highest GCSE grades, who will go bald first and who will get married before between them.
Katie Baylis, PR manager at Betfair, told Express.co.uk these markets, while peculiar, are meeting the favour of punters.
She said: “The baldness and marriage markets are more popular than the GCSE grades at the moment.

“These markets were something our traders went out with based on previous interest from punters who have requested similar markets in the past.”
But the betting craze doesn’t end online and is not reserved to experienced punters.
A hotel in Windsor putting up for grabs one of his room for a night to anyone able to guess when will the royal baby arrive and their gender.
MacDonald Windsor Hotel decided to put up a board outside its entrance and let any royal fan, guests and locals, bet on Meghan and Harry’s firstborn.
Matthew Callender, who works at the hotel as a doorman and is in charge of manning the board, said: “Everyone I speak to seems to have their own thoughts on when the Duchess will give birth, so we thought we should put it to the test.
“Some say they have a premonition about these things, and we’ll soon find out whether or not that’s the case.”
Mr Callender also spoke of the “excitement” which took over Windsor following the announcement of Meghan’s pregnancy.
He said: “The royal baby is the talk of the town.
“There was an unbelievable buzz around Windsor in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the excitement is palpable ahead of the birth of the royal baby.”
Meghan and Prince Harry quickly became fond of the Berkshire city.
On May 19 they got married at the splendid St George’s Cathedral in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
A few months later, Kensington Palace announced the couple would move their residence to Frogmore Cottage, part of Windsor’s Home Park.
