'He hasn't apologised!' Britons haven't forgiven Prince Harry for Megxit and hurt to Queen
PRINCE Harry's decision to quit as a senior royal alongside Meghan Markle has deeply damaged his popularity among the British public, which further slumped after his bombshell accusations against the Royal Family.
Prince Harry: Commentator criticises 'me time' comments
Two years after the first-ever 'Megxit' announcement, an Express.co.uk poll - which ran for 24hours from February 5 to February 6 - asked: "Is it time the British public forgave Prince Harry?" However, out of 34,570 responses, only six percent (1,932) said they could forgive him.
A staggering 93 percent (32,287) could not forgive the Duke of Sussex, which just one percent (361) said they were unsure.
One Express.co.uk reader, known as SweetCariad, wrote: "Harry is a total disgrace.
"He should not be let back into the country."
GeorgeUK2 commented: "They made their bed so they must lay on it period.
"They degraded our Country and our constitution, attacking our Monarchy which in effect they were accusing our country with unfounded and commercially driven statements."
A third reader, Yorkshire Lass 2, added: "Absolutely not.
"If they made a genuine public apology to the Royal Family and British public and come clean about all the lies, give up their financial endeavours and agree to be quiet, private individuals, then maybe at some future time."
Skys wrote: "No, Henry isn't as important as he thinks he is.

Another Express.co.uk reader, Anthony70, wrote: "Harry and his wife decided to kick the Royal family in the teeth at the worse possible time.

While, according to YouGov, Harry was liked by 71 percent of the people surveyed in October 2019, his approval rating plunged to 55 percent in January 2020, after announcing he would step down.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's popularity continued to drop and, in the second quarter of last year, he was liked only by 31 percent of the people polled.
During 2021, the Duke criticised the Firm and some of his family members in a number of public appearances.
Most notably, during the Sussexes' interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, Harry claimed his father Charles and brother William were "trapped" within the Firm.
