A royal correspondent claimed that King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla are such a joyful couple together, the Royal pair have been compared to Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. The BBC correspondent mentioned how they "laugh together" and can see the silly things that happen whilst out on duty, and appreciate the humour of it. Charles has just been proclaimed King of England and will reign as Queen Elizabeth II intended with Camila by his side as Queen Consort.
The commentator told the BBC: "And now they are such a joyful couple together and it's wonderful they need each other.
"You look back at Monarchs of the past, Geroge VI had Queen Elizabeth as we knew her the Queen Mother.
"And the Queen had the Duke of Edinburgh, and we now have this remarkable person who will sit alongside in partnership with... and they laugh together.
"They can see the silly things that happen, they love nothing more than silly things going a bit wrong, it just gives an opportunity to laugh and let your hair down at the end of a day."
Earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth II voiced her support for Camilla to take on the title of Queen Consort once Charles ascended the throne.

Charles has been stepping in for his mother at royal events, such as the opening of Parliament and Garter Day, for months as the Queen took a step back from travelling too much.
On his return to London from Balmoral on Friday, the King and Camilla headed to Buckingham Palace where they spoke to members of the British public mourning the Queen.
He later delivered his first speech to the nation as successor to the crown.
