Prince William shared some touching words as he joined King Charles in surprising mourners waiting in the line to see Queen Elizabeth lying-in-state in Westminster Hall.
Prince William greets royal mourners in heartfelt thanks
Prince William gave heartfelt thanks to royal mourners who had spent hours in the queue around London to pay their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away earlier this month. Speaking of the late monarch, the Queen's grandson told the crowd even in death she unites everyone".
Speaking to the crowd, William said: "Even in death she unites everyone, brings everyone together".
Amazed by the number of people queuing, he added: "It's very emotional being here because she would never believe this, honestly".
He called the crowd "unbelievable" and was also spotted praising the crowd and calling them "amazing".
"Lovely to see you," he added.
Some royal mourners spent the night queuing in the freezing cold to pay their tribute to the late Queen.
On Friday, the queue reached full capacity and entry was temporarily paused for new joiners.
People have also been told to stop travelling to join the queue, ahead of the funeral on Monday morning.
Thousands of people have waited in line to see the late monarch as she lie in state at Westminster Hall since 5pm on Wednesday.

Prince William discusses the Queen's corgis with mourner
All eight of the Queen's grandchildren are set to stand vigil beside her coffin in Westminster Hall on Saturday evening.
The Queen's grandchildren include Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn.
Royal sources confirmed that Prince William, the heir to the throne, will stand at the head of the coffin.

The Queen's state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey on September 19 from 11am BST.
Aside from the Royal Family, around 500 world leaders and dignitaries are going to be attending the Queen’s state funeral.
