Prince George surprised royal watchers by appearing at the Queen's state funeral earlier today. He walked into Westminster Abbey alongside his sister, Princess Charlotte, who was holding hands with their mother, Kate, Princess of Wales. He then walked through Westminster Abbey with his father, Prince William.
A solemn young figure in an all-black suit, the first-born Wales child joined his parents for the procession to Westminster Abbey.
The Prince and Princess of Wales walked ahead of George and his seven-year-old sister, Charlotte.
They were followed by their uncle and aunt, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and other members of the Royal Family.
George and Charlotte were the only of the Queen's great-grandchildren to attend the funeral.

Prince Harry was spotted looking emotional at the state funeral service for his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen’s coffin, which had been lying in state for four days at Westminster Hall, was taken by pallbearers to be placed on the Royal Navy State Funeral Gun carriage just after 10.30am.

The coffin was carried from New Palace Yard towards Westminster Abbey on the gun carriage, departing just before 10.45am.
Members of the Royal Family, led by King Charles III, followed on foot behind.
The route through Parliament Square, Broad Sanctuary and the Sanctuary was lined by Royal Navy personnel and Royal Marines.
The coffin was carried inside the Abbey by the bearer party of Grenadier Guards ahead of the state funeral service.
The service, conducted by the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle Dean of Westminster, began at 11am.
The sermon was delivered by the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury.
At the end of the service, the Last Post was played before the nation observed a two-minute silence.
After the funeral, the Queen's coffin travelled in procession from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch, between the corners of Hyde Park and Green Park.
From there, the coffin travelled to Windsor, where a committal service was held at St George's Chapel.
Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest in the King George VI memorial chapel, a small annexe to the main chapel at Windsor.
She will be buried alongside her father, George VI, the Queen Mother and her sister, Princess Margaret.
Prince Philip is in the Royal Vault but will be moved to lie beside his wife in the chapel.
