King Charles and Queen Camilla visit Covent Garden
Queen Camilla's rise to the throne demonstrated her commitment both to her husband King Charles and royal duty, according to a royal expert. Over the years of their marriage her image has been rehabilitated so successfully that both the public and the late Queen Elizabeth came to "understand her virtues", with this month's Coronation culminating as her "just reward" for her efforts.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams explained how despite the initial hostility displayed to Camilla, particularly from fans of Princess Diana, the Queen Consort was able to establish herself as a beloved member of the Firm.
He exclusively told Express.co.uk: "Camilla is devoted to Charles, she is his “non-negotiable” partner and the late Queen understood this and came to terms with it, despite the intensely hostile public and press attitudes to her after Diana’s death.
"Camilla’s rise to prominence has been extremely well handled. Charles was frequently outwitted by Diana in public relations but his rehabilitation of her image, over several pivotal years after Diana’s death to their marriage, was highly successful.
"This has led to a greater understanding of Camilla’s virtues by the public and the way she has handled her charitable activities has been highly impressive."
He added: "She also excels in person to person contact, those who meet her find a great deal to admire including her wonderful sense of fun.
"She never answered her critics, but remained steadfast and her crowning has been her just reward."
Camilla has also indicated she has a strong relationship with other senior royals, especially Kate, Princess of Wales, as one body language expert revealed.

Darren Stanton told Express.co.uk on behalf of Spin Genie: "As the years have gone on, Kate and Camilla have both developed an inner confidence within themselves.
"They’ve also likely spent a lot of time together privately, which has enabled them to develop a deeper connection.
"I’ve noticed that the pair have similar aspects of body language, including posture and the way they walk. They’re both quite tactile at times, with Kate often touching Camilla whilst sharing a joke.
"At events, their facial expressions also appear to be matching and mirroring, which denotes a deep level of trust and rapport. Overall, the pair show genuine smiles and laughter whilst out together."

Charles and Camilla married in April 2005, nearly ten years after his divorce from Diana was finalised, although she was then killed in a car crash the following year.
In his memoir Spare Prince Harry painted a picture of his stepmother as a "villain" and even claimed he and brother Prince William begged their father not to marry her.
However Queen Elizabeth last year expressed her desire for Camilla to be known as Queen Consort once Charles ascended to the throne.
On the Buckingham Palace website the word Consort has been dropped from her profile and she is simply referred to as "The Queen".
