Old-fashioned UK seaside town worlds away from Princess Kate and William's nearby mansion
The Prince and Princess of Wales spend their weekends and holidays at Amner Hall which is described as where they feel "most at home".
The Prince and Princess of Wales's holiday home in Norfolk is worlds away from the seaside town next door. Amner Hall was a wedding gift to Prince William and Kate from the late Queen Elizabeth in 2011. Today the couple spend many of their weekends and holidays at the estate near Hunstanton, but the two couldn't be further apart.

While the Prince and Princess of Wales spent £1.5 million in renovations on Amner Hall, the average house price just 20 minutes down the road in Hunstanton is around £330,500.
The ten-bedroom home is a far cry from the terraced and semi-detached housing mainly found in the town.
Amner Hall would also cost a reported £54,000 to rent and would require a £450,000 deposit, which would take 20 years to save for.
The average house price for Norfolk as a whole over the past year is around £315,000.
Hunstanton has been given the nickname "Sunny Hunny" as it is one of the most popular destinations along the North Norfolk Coast.
The local council calls it the "ideal base to enjoy Norfolk's superb coastline" and is "renowned for its unique striped cliffs and magnificent sunsets, made special by its position as the only west-facing resort on the East coast."
Visitors to the town can enjoy traditional seaside activities like the funfair and amusements, a sea life centre or seal tour and enjoy some water sports.
Figures from 2018 to 2019 showed around 45,000 people from across the UK visited the town, a staggering number compared to the population of just 4,228 people.

Amner House is where the Wales feel "most at home" according to Prince William who described it as "very peaceful", which isn't surprising as it also hosts a swimming pool and private tennis court.
Speaking on the renovations Steph Briggs, Celebrity TV Interior Designer and Co-Founder of La Di Da Interiors previously told Express.co.uk: “This property has been sympathetically updated by William and Kate, beautifully refreshed but still retaining the period features, making these a focus point.
“Centuries ago, these rooms would have been decorated in rich burgundies and sage green filled with dark wooden furniture and panelling.
“From the images, we can see that today this is now a comfortable modern family home, emphasising creating a welcoming and relaxed environment through their choice of decor and furnishings.”
